Senior Data Scientist

Mindpool is a newly started Danish tech start-up with a platform that enables the collection and processing of tacit knowledge from frontline employees in companies to promote well-informed management decisions. The methods behind our platform are based on the world's leading researchers in the field of collective intelligence, who also are co-founders of the company.

Role Overview

Are you an experienced Data Scientist with significant competencies within NLP technology development? The Mindpool team is growing, and we're hiring extraordinary talents who crave to make impactful change. 

Mindpool is in its early journey from conceptualizing the purpose to implementation, and thus we rely on your outspoken disciplinary experience and knowledge to help steer the process. As a Senior Data Scientist at Mindpool, you will be key to ensuring that our company and SaaS platform is data-driven at its heart. This includes tight collaboration with the product and DEV team, supporting iterating our product in a way that enables more valuable insights for our clients. 

Since you will be joining in such an early stage, you will be rewarded with equity in the company, along with a salary. You will have office space available at our fantastic startup shared-office space in Islands Brygge (Copenhagen), which currently houses five tech start-up companies, including the world's largest tattoo marketplace platform, Tattoodo, founded by our founder and director, entrepreneur Mik Thobo-Carlsen.


  • Excellent problem-solver with good communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and enjoyment for a high growth start-up environment
  • Able to mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies
  • Experience and confidence in developing & deploying machine learning models in a production environment and data engineering skills
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (primarily natural language processing, clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets, modeling and scripting and developing production-ready code.
  • Speak and write English fluently (Danish is not a requirement)
